DEC 28TH – Xmas at Silver Threads
Marks Tey village hall is where the Silver Threads Club meet, Again having been Twice before Angie was asked to give a Christmas Concert. An excellent turn out enjoyed an afternoon of sing-a-longs and Christmas fun.
It has been a great year for all of us and we are all looking forward to greater things in 2005.

DEC 18TH – Annual visit to Trunch
Trunch Village hall, Nr. North walsham in Norfolk is a great little venue for a concert. Having been Twice Before booked by Mr. and Mrs. Walker who lives in the village, Angie was asked to come and give a Christmas Concert. Nearly every seat was full and we all enjoyed a little festive Cheer.

DEC 17TH – Burgess Hill was our last Organ society concert before Christmas. Held in the freshly decorated British Legion Club a full house enjoyed not only the music but a lovely buffet as well. Rosalie invited Angie Back on for an encore dressed for the occasion as Father Christmas

DEC 15TH – Xmas Dinner at the Officer’s Club in Colchester. Angie was asked by Graham Thornton to play at the Rotarian clubs Xmas Dinner and to make us feel part of the event we were given Dinner as well, it was lovely. We sat along side friends Ralph & Jean Hayden and had a fantastic evening. A big thank you to Graham and everybody who made us feel welcome.

DEC 13TH – Billericay Organ Society is set in a church hall with no stage, but to help the audience see they set up camera’s One above the artist, One aiming at the keys and One aiming at the pedals. These Three camera’s are then in turn projected onto a big screen. This is the first club we have been to using this idea, maybe it will catch on.

DEC 12TH – The local Ramblers Club had their Xmas dinner followed by Angie as their entertainment. A lovely Sunday afternoon was had by all. The audience sat around in a semi-circle which made a nice cosy atmosphere.

DEC 8TH – Yarmouth Organ Society was our next Christmas Visit and the concert was held in a lovely venue set right on the Seafront. It was nice to see some keen followers of Angie turn out on a really bad winter evening. On the Way home the fog was so thick in places you couldn’t see the road.

DEC 3RD – Angie’s Xmas Show
It’s Christmas season again and to start it off we had our 10th local concert raising funds for Angie’s future Training. The University of Essex Jazz Band were Special guests for a Third time. Karen Emms, one of Angie’s best friends also made a guest appearance playing piano and singing. Every seat in the hall was taken and the audience were treated to over 3 hours of music.

NOV 20TH – BBC Children in Need
After a successful concert last year raising in total £335 we decided to do it again this year, but for longer. The High Chelmer Shopping Centre in Chelmsford, Essex was again the venue which is open to many passing shoppers who were more than generous to make good donations. Angie started playing at 12.30pm until 3pm with a small break in the middle. John Hyde from BBC Essex Radio compared (a big thank you to him). In total this year we raised £425

NOV 13TH – A Saturday evening Young Performers Concert for Relief Aid. Baptist Church, Clacton. A very good turn out to support the concert. Angie played a set in each half together with other local performers, a good amount of money was raised to help the charity.

NOV 3RD – A Trip to Grimsby to play for their Organ Society, A very friendly group which gave us a very warm welcome. The venue was a church hall which had good acoustics and a full audience enjoyed a relaxing evenings entertainment

OCT 1ST – Rotary Dinner
Stoke by Nayland Golf Club was a lovely venue for Angie to entertain after a Rotarian evening dinner. Angie was well received and caught the attention of the working staff also. CD’s bought by the manager for the golf club will unsure Angie will now be heard on CD at the venue.

SEPT 25TH / 26TH – Friends of the Rye Wurlitzer
Invited by Richard Moore Angie was invited to play at Thomas Peacocke Community College in Rye, East Sussex. We stayed in a beautiful quest house called Culpeppers with a grand breakfast in the morning. The day followed with Angie, Catherine Drummond and Adam Evans playing a mixture of Electronic Organ music along with the Theatre Organ – The Grand Wurlitzer.

SEPT 11TH – Colchester Music Festival
A Weekend of activity. Angie was invited to perform solo again as a Musician and Vocalist in the grounds of the Colchester Castle Park. She was also seen showing her dancing skills with her Stagecoach colleagues. Thank you Abbey for inviting as back.

JUL 30TH – BBC Radio Essex Asked Angie to come and sing as part of their Summer Road Show Weekend in Walton on the Naze. The show was broadcast live on the air and plenty of people turned up to enjoy the afternoon.

JUL 25TH – The Community Centre in Brightlingsea, Essex welcomed a return visit of Dirkjan Ranzijn with Angie as his Special guest for a Fifth time. The audience were treated to an evening of wonderful music with the highlight being Angie singing On My Own (from Les Mis) being accompanied by Dirk on his Powerful Bohm Organ.

JUL 24TH – A trip up to Hemsby to play a fund raising event at the Sports & Social Club, A nice venue with a lovely stage, lots of time to set up to make everything look really colourful and warm. A big thanks to everyone who supported the event.

JUL 19TH – Hull Organ Society was next in our busy July Schedule, after a Six hour drive we arrived to a lovely welcome, everybody was really friendly and the venue was really nice, the stage was set on a raised seating area so people were sitting around the side as well as in front which made a more homely feel. A big thanks to Dolly who gave us bed and breakfast before our trek back the next day.

JUL 17TH – Porters in Southend is where the Mayor holds his Functions, Garden Parties and Fund raising events etc. Angie was asked by The Lady McAdden Breast Screening Unit Charity to play an afternoon concert in the garden. About 50 people turned up which was nice but as Angie began to play there was a huge rain storm, lucky we were under a marquee. The event was supported by the Southend Mayor and Mayoress and Angie got the chance to have some photo’s even sitting in the Mayor’s chair.

JUL 13TH – Bury St. Edmunds Organ Society, only 1½ hrs from home, one of the nearer venues this month. A good evening was had by all.

JUL 11TH – After 4 years at Stagecoach School in Colchester, Angie together with the rest of the Friday group, performs her final presentation. At the end Angie received a Silver medal for 4 years at the school, she also presented the teachers and Caroline (the Principle) with flowers and cards.

JUL 6TH – 9TH – OUR FIRST MINI NORTHERN TOUR
10am Tuesday 6th July with trailer loaded and camping gear on board we set off for our first small tour. The concert on the Tuesday night was at the ABC club in South Elmsall near Doncaster. We stopped at a small farm nearby to set the tents up before hand so we were already set for the night after the concert. Wednesday morning we woke to a lovely day, after barbequed breakfast we made our way down about 30 miles to our second campsite near Matlock. After setting up we took a drive up to the grounds of Chatsworth House where we met up with some friends from yesteryear, the weather was still fine and we had a nice afternoon. After lunch Thursday we set off for Terry & Jennifer Brooks house where we were going to stay after the concert at the Leabrooks & Riddings club that evening. The concert went well with some nice colour added to the stage by the Committee. After 2 nights in tents it was nice to sleep in a real bed again (thank you Terry & Jennifer). After Breakfast Friday it was time to make our way back home. All in all it was a good experience.

JUL 3RD – Angie’s own Gala shows in our home town of Wivenhoe are still going from strength to strength and this one was no exception. 100 people turned up to enjoy a great night of Organ, Piano and Vocals. Angie’s special guest was James Ewins who is behind the Electone Society. James played for 15mins at the start of each half before Angie delighted the audience once more. Angie’s Christmas show will be on 4th Dec 2004 at 7pm, The University of Essex Jazz Band should return for a third time as Special guests.

JUL 1ST – Bristol Organ society was the first date of our Busy July Schedule, the venue was the B.A.W.A. club. What a super place, large stage and raised seating areas around the edge. Thank you Nick for organising this extra concert between their regular dates.

JUNE 3RD / 6TH – I performed as a supporting lead role in the Musical “Sweet Charity” at the Princes Theatre, Clacton. It took many weeks of rehearsals to perform six shows in four days, (hard work). My character was Nicky who is one of Charity’s best friends. Thanks to everyone at the theatre, the cast, the crew and the production team for making the show a huge success.

JUNE / MAY – Redditch, Halstead & Haverhill – 3 Organ Society’s played at, all with very nice venues and made very welcome by the members and committee. Redditch in the west midlands was the furthest and we arrived back home at 5am in the morning.

APR 27TH – A return trip to Caister to play an afternoon slot at the Sceptor Promotions Organ & Keyboard festival, Together with Ian Griffin and James Ewins, Angie played to a decent size audience who really showed their appreciation for her performance. We met Bill Erwin who is a big time Organ promoter in America and is pictured with Angie on the gallery section.

APR 18TH – Sunday Serenade at The Princes Theatre, Clacton, was a huge success. Angie playing on her new Organ for the first time in public together with Bob & Reg Young (The Young Brothers), The Sweeting Swing Band and Barbara Francis played and sang to a 600 strong audience who were entertained for nearly three hours. This was The Young Brothers first venture at The Princes Theatre and by the reception they received it won’t be the last.

APR 15TH – The L.M.R.C.A. was a super venue for The Rugby Organ Society, a lovely stage and a very friendly club. Angie was well liked and was asked to return for another concert in the future.

APR 4TH – A return visit to Her Majesty’s Theatre in London for another Young Performers Variety Show. Angie together with her Stagecoach group danced three numbers on the large stage (home to the world famous “Phantom Of The Opera”).

APR 1ST – Wickford Rotary Club asked Angie to play at one of their evening dinners at The Bursted Golf Club. It was a super evening and we were well looked after with plenty of refreshments. Thank you Ralph for inviting us.

MAR 27TH – We were invited to The Yenton Hotel in Bournemouth for Angie to perform in Dirkjan Ranzijns weekend special. We socialised and stayed overnight Saturday and woke to a lovely breakfast. We met The Keyboard Kids Darren and Lucinda (pictured with Angie on the gallery) who also played. Angie performed in the afternoon and evening and we had a lovely meal before we set off home at 11pm. Thanks to everyone involved, look forward to doing it again.

MAR 23RD – Angie played at the A.G.M. for Swale Organ Club, it was a lovely big venue with a huge stage. As well as getting a standing ovation for her performance she was invited back to do a full concert on a regular club night next year.

MAR 21ST
ANGIE’S NEW ORGAN

Mothering Sunday was a little different for us this year as it took us on a trip to Formby nr. Liverpool to pick up Angie’s latest Organ. It is a YAMAHA ELECTONE EL 900m, a special edition top of the range model brought out for the millennium, (see picture on the gallery page).

MAR 13th – Strumpshore nr. Norwich has a steam museum which has many steam engines as well as working models, another attraction is a Christie Organ which is set inside the museum and played daily in the open season. Two good friends of ours and keen followers of Angie, John and Peter organised for her to have a session on the Christie during the afternoon on the way to a concert in the evening, thank you to them.
The evening saw a return trip to Honing & Crosswright village hall (nr. North Walsham), these are two little villages in the countryside but share a wonderful venue. The weather was miserable but the welcome back was warm, thank you to Mr & Mrs Rose for the hot tea and lovely rolls.

MAR 11th – Angie was invited to the Officers Club in Colchester to play at a Co-op re-union dinner, it was a full house and we were well looked after with refreshments. Thank you Maria.

MAR 2nd – A trip to South Benfleet Organ Society was next and full house turned out see the concert, an enjoyable evening was had by all and Angie was booked to return next year. Thank you for making us all feel welcome.

FEB 28th
THE CHARTER HALL
, Colchester, held a charity concert with a total of 16 different acts and Angie was asked to come along and take part. There were a number of bands and singers on the schedule and Angie with her organ. The evening was hosted by SGR Colchester radio. At the end of Angie’s set she played the Can Can and invited anybody who felt fit enough to come up on stage and dance. Much to her surprise 6 members of a dance group who opened the show got up and danced to her playing.

FEB 23rd
Angie plus a selected few from her Stagecoach group took in the opera Tosca, it was at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich and featured a numbers of celebrities.

FEB 15th – The return of Dirkjan Ranzijn to Brightlingsea, this is becoming an ever-growing event and this time was no exception, We had got just about a full house. Angie played the Techniques PR 903 for 15 minutes in each half which was a nice contrast to Dirk’s powerful Bohm organ. Thanks for everyone who helped on the day and will look forward to the next time Dirk is in town.

FEB 7th – A Charity choral concert at Chelmsford Cathedral, featured The South Woodham Ferrers (male voice choir), The swift singers & Angie as the solo artist. She performed on her EL 90 and sang 2 numbers; it was a great privilege to be a soloist act to a full audience of 700. As part of the finally Angie accompanied the pianist while the 2 choirs sang together a song from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Dave Monk of BBC Radio Essex compared the evening. Farleigh Hospice – Hope & Homes for Children and The Orchid Cancer Appeal were the 3 Charlty’s collected for.

JAN 27th – We travelled to Norwich organ society, meeting people who had seen Angie at other venues near by. As we travelled home the snow fell and Norwich was very bad with weather the next night.

JAN 17th – A private function at Thorringtons club and scout hall was next in our busy January schedule and Angie was surprised with a lovely bouquet of flowers

JAN 13th – Lowestoft organ society gave Angie her very first standing ovation, she was very well liked and the club, which was founded in 1978 by Robert Wolfe, entered her into their memoirs.

JAN 7th – After a well deserved Christmas and New Year break our first concert of 2004 took us to Ashford in Kent, we met some people who had seen Angie at the Lyme bay and Caister festivals.
