DECEMBER AND NOVEMBER
December
– A very busy month this year starting on the 3rd with a trip
down to Seaford (Nr Eastbourne), The committee made a special effort
to decorate the stage with Christmas lights and trimmings that made
a nice start to the Christmas season.
The 6th was my own Christmas show in Wivenhoe, with Special guests
The University of Essex Jazz Band. This was their second time and
together with over 100 in the audience we all had a great evening,
also a special thanks to Peter Hill (Wivenhoe Town Councillor),
James Ewins (Electone Society) and Lesley from the Colchester Evening
Standard.
Moving
nearer to Xmas I’ve played events for The Ladies group at
Arlesford, The Clacton Darby & Joan Club, Took part in a Christmas
show for the Co-op club at the Colchester institute with over 300
enjoying a night out, and Finally on the 23rd I am playing at a
Christmas Lunch at The Officers Club in Colchester for the Rotary’s
Clubs Christmas Meal.
November
– Apart from playing the Children in Need concert in Chelmsford,
which hopefully I will be doing again next year, I played at The
March Organ society at the GER Club on a Sunday afternoon (what
a lovely place and the club was very welcoming) thank you every
one. On the 8th Nov was the launch of The Electone Society, which
I was invited to play at. This was held at The Royal College of
Art & Media in West London. Together with other players that
use the Yamaha Electone and some Yamaha school players we had a
nice afternoon of music and chat.
CHILDREN
IN NEED – Angie performed an hour concert at the High Chelmer
Shopping Centre in Chelmsford raising in total £335
Generous donations were made on the day including Allegro Music
in Chelmsford – several people sponsored the event including
the Yamaha Electone Society, thank you James.
We travelled up to the BBC Centre in Norwich (the forum) on Friday
evening to present the money raised, Angie was interviewed by Stuart
White of BBC Look East, which was broadcasted live on air.
The
Jonathan Feedham Charity has kindly helped Angie out with part of
the cost of her new concert trailer (picture on gallery) as a reward
for her continued support of local charities. The charity was founded
in 1717 by Jonathan Feedham who lived in Wivenhoe, as a support
for local people in the community. A big thank you to Peter Hill
who supports Angie wherever possible, also as a member of the Charity.
October
Oct 25th & 26th – We travelled 7 hours to Seaton in Lyme
Bay, Devon for Angie to perform at Cled Griffins Organ & Keyboard
Festival, It was a lovely weekend of fantastic food and scenery.
We met Margaret Falkner of Organfax again who has helped Angie tremendously.
Angie was offered by Cled an extra slot to perform 7.15 - 8pm as
a warm up to the evening line up, she was greeted with a full house
who enjoyed her playing as well as a little vocal.
Oct
18th & 19th – Angie had only one lesson on the Wurlitzer
organ by Catherine Drummond & was brave enough to perform in
The Young Theatre Organist Competition for the experience.
Oct
11th, 12th & 13th – We visited Cambridge Organ Society
for Angie to perform a concert. She was received very well and some
are returning for her concert on 16th Nov at the March club.
Angie performed for 20 minutes at the West Cliff Theatre in Clacton
at a variety show, the comical compares Bob & Reg Young launched
Angie’s Fan Club 21st June 03.
We returned to Brentwood for the 2nd time, the committee made a
special effort to make the stage very presentable with lights and
colour.
Oct
5th – Angie had her 3rd opportunity to perform at Caister
Organ & Keyboard festival with Sceptre Promotions, The artists
now appear on big screen either side of the stage. It was nice to
meet up with Tony Stace who performed after Angie
Sept
20th – We travelled up to Trunch Village Hall, in Norfolk
where Angie performed last year. Angie was well received and there
were many new faces that came to see her.
Sept
13th – Angie was invited to play at the Colchester Festival.
This was a public out door event with various other activities at
the Castle Grounds in Colchester. Angie played a very jolly program
encouraging people to stay and listen to her.
August
2003
Angie turned 16 on the 20th August, having celebrated with many
of her friends, school pals and stagecoach colleques.
G.C.S.E results were a great success on the 21st, having passed
the 10 she sat. 1= A 7= B 2 = C
She now has qualified for a place at the Colchester Institute which
is a very reputable full time music college.
Anglia television were at the Colne Community school where Angie
took her exams, and she appeared on the lunchtime news.
JULY
26th – Angie was privliged to be able to have the Symphony
Hall in Birmingham all to herself for 2 hours. Shaun Turnbull, the
Organ Scholar allowed Angie to play on the Symhony Hall Organ. This
is a relatively new pipe organ, installed Oct. 2001. It has 6,000
pipes and is quite a magnificent instrument with 4 consoles. Angie
also was impressed with the organ and also with the Steinway Piano
and has an ambition now to play and sing on the Steinway to an audience
at this fantastic venue one day.
July
24th – A yearly return trip to Boxted Evergreen Club in Colchester.
Many other clubs were invited on this day, especially to see Angie.
She was very popular with everyone and we run out of CD sales.
July
20th – Oaks Nursing Home. Angie is invited here very frequently
as she is very well liked by the staff and residents.
July
18th – Angie participated a lot in a last term Stagecoach
Presentation in Colchester, Acting, Singing and Dancing.
July
16th – Angie performed with her School Colne Orchestra playing
her Violin.
July 13th – Angie was a quest artist to Dirkjan Ranzijn (A
Dutch European Artist) in Brightlingsea. Dirk coached Angie in 2002,
helping her with her album ‘Circle of Dreams’.

Jun 23rd – Back to Clacton to play at the Golf Green Hall,
Jaywick. She was well received and the audience had a great afternoon.
Some people had seen Angie before at The West Cliff Theatre in The
Young Brothers Sunday Afternoon Variety Show
Jun
21st – Angie performed her own Gala show in Wivenhoe to an
audience of at least 100 people who witnessed the opening of her
Official Fan Club. Bob & Reg Young representatives of The West
Cliff Theatre in Clacton accompanied by their wives Rita & Pauline
kindly attended as special guests to cut the ribbon. On the night
24 people joined bringing the ever-growing total now to 52. Angie
sung some lovely songs including 2 of her own compositions and played
a variety of instruments including The Electronic Organ, The Piano,
The Violin and The Guitar. See the Fan Club section for details

May
29th – A trip to Clacton to play for the Retired Employees
Association at St. Paul’s Church Hall, A nice afternoon was
had by all including the workmen repairing the roof

22nd - With A Return Visit To Marks Tey Silver Threads Club, Angie
Wooed The Audience Once Again.
Apr
15th – Venturing Up North, Angie Performed At South Yorkshire
Organ & Keyboard Club. Her Stage Set Up Was Complimented And
A Delightful Evening Was Had By All.
Mar
30th – Another West End experience, Angie trained 12 weeks
dancing and singing with Colchester Stagecoach School. Many dance,
drama and Theatre schools from around the country participated in
‘The Young Performers Show’ at Her Majesty’s Theatre
in London. (Home of Phantom of the Opera)

24th – Angie performed another charity concert at Colchester
Town Hall, raising funds for the Mayor’s charities. (see multi
media section for video clips)
Mar
16th – Angie performed a charity concert to help raise funds
for Caterham Church Organ fund in Surrey.
Mar
1st – Angie performed a concert in Norfolk to raise funds
for Honing & Crosswright Village hall, supported by fans who
saw Angie at Trunch last September.
Feb
17th – Performed at the Red Cross hall in Clacton
Angie’s CD album “Circle Of Dreams” has been published
in the Organ Cavalcade magazine and The Theatre & Electronic
Organ Catalogue.
She is currently studying for her G.C.SE’S and is composing
music on manuscript paper.
Feb
16th – Angie performed at the Westcliffe theatre in Clacton
for the 4th time, she was very well loved by the audience and has
been invited back again 12th Oct 03.
Feb
9th – Angie performed as a special guest to top European artist
Dirkjan Ranzijn in Brightlingsea Essex. Dirk coached Angie on her
latest album “Circle Of Dreams”.
Feb
7th – She performed at the A.G.M. night of Colchester organ
society, many of the audience were followers of her concerts.
Feb
2nd – Angie performed at Wisbech organ society, which involved
a fan who travelled from the U.S.A. to see her in concert.
